  While I'm not a fan of El Ranchito restaurant, the taco shop is A+.
  
  Beef tacos are great as well as the breakfast burritos. I had breakfast burritos with ham for 3 days during my trip here in August. The first one was the best. Then the next two they didn't melt the cheese. Maybe because it was busy but 10x better when they melt the cheese on the burrito.
  
  Service is great and the salsa bar is fantastic! Very cool they have spicy carrots also. I guess they are supposed to have jalapeños in there also but the local workers pick them all out in the morning. I actually caught a guy who spent 3 minutes picking them all out while watching me stand there- just waiting to make one thing of salsa.. kinda rude!
  
  Easy parking and lots of tables. Will return next time I'm in town. I'll just ask them to "melt my pinche cheese!"

  I don't know if I was just hungry or what but man these tacos were good. We were pretty simple this time, just 4 soft chicken tacos for us. I paid literally like $10.50! Win! $2.50 a taco! That's what I'm taking about. The chicken was so good! And I love being here because the two soft corn tortilla shells are my fav. They also had a ton of sauces and extra right by the drinks to add to your meal. Loved that.
  
  The only thing lacking really was the chips. Usually you go to a Mexican place and the chips are life giving. These were old and not fresh. Defiantly get a meal and not worry about chips and salsa in my opinion.
  
  Defiantly a hole in the wall place but man was it tasty!

  We've been eating at the Taco Shop since we moved here. Over 10 years. The food is pretty consistent in quality of freshness and taste. We love the shredded beef tacos, the fresh salsa's and I am particularly fond of the chorizo n egg burrito. The beans and rice are very good, so are the enchiladas.
  
  Many of the commenters complain about the customer service but we have never found the girls at the counter to be anything but polite and professional.
  
  The plates they use do not have "dividers' as one critic suggested and the amount of food you get is plenty. The "to go" containers do have dividers but not the eat-in plates. Makes sense to me. This Taco Shop is authentic in the way they cook so take a chance, but if you're looking for the best "margarita" or "ambiance" go elsewhere! This is a "taco shop", after all.

  The food is very very good, I'd give it 5 stars but the staff is not friendly, I work customer service in hospitality and I have to go above and beyond for my guests. At least pretend you like your job. Fake a smile.. it's not professional, staff are on there cell phones, head leaning against the wall, I'm so sorry, for the bad review, it bothers me that working customer service and you can't help but care. Thanks!

  My family eats here or takes out 1-2 times per week.  We love their shredded beef tacos the most.  And, their pickled carrots on the salsa bar are delicious.  
  The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is the gal at the counter changes and they are not all as friendly as the next.  One just kind of grunts or seems rather disinterested when I order.  But that doesn't keep us away.  We love the food.
